A Skincare Routine to Get Rid of Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
Bioderma Micellar Water or Milu Cleansing Balm - Especially when I'm wearing makeup, the first cleanse really helps get rid of makeup, SPF and anything my skin has accumulated throughout the day. Ever since I started double cleansing, I've noticed fewer breakouts and a more even texture.
The Nue Co Barrier Culture Cleanser - This cleanser probiotic is the perfect second cleanse, not too harsh on the skin while getting rid of whatever is left on my face, while being gentle on the skin barrier. A lot of cleansers can strip your skin and damage your skin for your next steps, so you want to make sure you use something gentle for your skin type.
Klarskin Universal Serum - With pure HA and zinc, this is the perfect serum for anyone who struggles with (adult) acne. Developed by someone who struggled with bad acne, the zinc in this formula will really control your skin's natural oil production.
The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane - I never understood the hype around retinol until I started using it. I personally don't use it to look younger or to reverser the first signs of ageing on my skin but to help fade my scars and it has made a real difference. Since my skin is still fragile, I go for a low concentration (0.2% Retinol) and only apply it a few times a week.
The Nue Co Barrier Culture Moisturiser - Although, during the day I usually go for a very simple moisturiser, in the evening, I like to have actives in my products. With probiotics, ceramides, squalane and niacinamide, this is the perfect cream to nourish and repair my skin at night. Ever since I incorporated probiotics in my skincare routine, my skin has never been more even and softer.
Avène Cicalfate Cream - I only use this if I have really dark spots on my skin but I highly recommend using this to help with scars. Sometimes I even apply this on my body after I've had a bug bite or something of the sort. It really helps with your skin's recovery.
